For more than 30 years, through bull and bear markets, Commodity Resource (CRC) has been dedicated to value added client relationships. Founded in 1983 by George Kleinman, the firm deals in commodity futures trading for corporations and individuals. CRC specializes in agricultural commodities, financial futures, energies, soft commodities, and precious metals. The firm is a member of the National Futures Association and a Guaranteed Introducing Broker of R.J. O’Brien (RJO). RJO (founded in 1914) is the largest independent futures clearing firm in the United States with an exceptionally strong capital base. All client funds are held on the books of RJO (member of all principal commodity exchanges).
George Kleinman, President and CEO of Commodity Resource Corp., has been trading futures and commodities since 1978 on behalf of individuals and commercial clients. George started in the business with Merrill Lynch Commodities where he attained the honor of ‘Golden Circle’ – one of Merrill’s top ten commodity brokers internationally.
In 1983 George founded Commodity Resource, then based on the floor of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange. George served on the Board of Directors of the MGE and was also a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange. He has been cited in national publications such as The Wall St. Journal, Futures, Investor's Daily, and highlighted for trading performance in FORTUNE.
George has developed his own proprietary trading techniques and is the author of five books on commodity futures trading published by the Financial Times. His latest edition, Trading Commodities and Financial Futures, was published in 2013 and focuses on his successful trading techniques. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with an MBA from Hofstra University. In 1995 George relocated CRC to Lake Tahoe.
